Terms of Service

Acceptance of These Terms

By creating an account or using Amore in Vespa, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the service. These terms form a binding agreement between you and Amore in Vespa.

What the Service Does

Amore in Vespa is an online wedding planning platform. It lets you build a multilingual wedding website, manage your guest list, send digital invitations, collect RSVPs, plan seating and budgets, and use AI-assisted planning tools. We may add, change or remove features as the platform develops.

Your Account

You need an account to use most of the service, and you are responsible for what happens under it.

• You must be at least 18 years old to create an account.
• Give accurate information when you register and keep it up to date.
• Keep your password confidential and do not share your account with others.
• Tell us promptly if you believe someone else has gained access to your account.

Plans and Payment

Amore in Vespa offers a free plan and a paid plan. Paid plans are a one-time payment for a single wedding, not a recurring subscription.

• Prices are shown in euros and include VAT where it applies.
• Payment is handled by our payment provider; we never see or store your card details.
• Paid features are unlocked as soon as payment is confirmed.
• A paid plan covers one wedding on one account and cannot be transferred to another account.

Right of Withdrawal

As a consumer in the EU you may withdraw from your purchase within 14 days, without giving a reason.

• The withdrawal period is 14 days from the day the contract is concluded.
• To withdraw, send us a clear statement by email before the period ends. You may use the model form below.
• We refund all payments received within 14 days of being informed, using the same payment method you used.
• If you ask us to unlock paid features immediately, you accept that the right of withdrawal ends once the service has been fully performed.

Data Protection

We process personal data in line with the GDPR. Our Privacy Policy explains what we collect, why we collect it, and what rights you have. By using the service you also accept that policy.

Controller and Processor Roles

Data protection law separates the party that decides why data is processed from the party that processes it on their behalf. For wedding data those roles are split as follows.

• You are the controller for the guest data you upload — names, contact details, dietary requirements and RSVP responses.
• We are the processor for that guest data and use it only to provide the service to you.
• We are the controller for your own account data, such as your email address, login credentials and payment records.

What You May Not Do

To keep the platform safe for everyone, you agree not to:

• Upload content that is unlawful, hateful, deceptive, or infringes someone else's rights.
• Upload guest data that you have no lawful basis to share with us.
• Try to access other users' accounts, data or wedding websites.
• Probe, scan, overload or otherwise interfere with the platform or its infrastructure.
• Resell or sublicense the service, or use it to build a competing product.

Intellectual Property

The platform, its templates, designs, code and branding remain our property. You keep ownership of the content you upload — photos, text and guest data — and grant us a limited licence to host and display it for the purpose of running your wedding website.

Cancellation and Termination

• You can delete your account at any time from your profile settings.
• Deleting your account removes your wedding website and guest data, subject to the retention periods in our Privacy Policy.
• We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms, normally after warning you first.
• Outside the statutory withdrawal period, one-time payments for a wedding already planned on the platform are non-refundable.

Liability

We work hard to keep the service available and your data safe, but we provide the platform as it is and cannot guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.

Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury, for intent or gross negligence, or for anything else that cannot be limited under Dutch or EU consumer law. Subject to that:

• We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including lost profits or missed opportunities.
• We are not liable for content that you or your guests upload, or for how you use guest data.
• We are not liable for interruptions caused by third-party services such as hosting, email or payment providers.
• Where liability can be limited, it is capped at the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms as the service evolves or the law changes. If a change materially affects you, we will let you know by email or in the app before it takes effect. Continuing to use the service after that means you accept the new terms.

Governing Law and Disputes

• These terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands.
• As a consumer you keep the protection of the mandatory rules of the country where you live.
• Disputes may be brought before the competent Dutch courts, or before the courts of your country of residence if you are a consumer.
• You may also use the European Commission's online dispute resolution platform at ec.europa.eu/odr.
